Amy was the day of coordinator for our wedding, and if I could give her more stars I would. My fiancé and I tried to keep our wedding expenses low, and her services were the best investment we made. Not only was she instrumental in pulling off some complicated re-setting of multiple rooms (among many other things), she was so fun to have by our side in our stressful or anxiety ridden moments. Thank you to Meg for pairing me with Amy!! I can’t recommend this company enough.

Meg and her team are a dream come true. As a wedding photographer I often have the pleasure of working with many different vendors, and I've never come across someone so helpful, and kind. Megan and her team are excellent teammates who want the best for their clients, and will work with all the vendors to make it happen. I can't stop talking about how awesome it was working with her and her lovely team. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to all my clients. Just go ahead and stop your search for a wedding planner here. My sister - who has experience in the wedding industry - suggested hiring Meg as a planner because she appreciated her organization and communication in the professional world. Hiring her, I had no idea anyone would be as invested in my wedding as me but Meg made us feel like a top priority at all times. The care and attentiveness from Yinz Getting Married is unrivaled. If I had to have another wedding, I would choose them every single time. The worst part about the wedding being over is that we don’t get to see Meg all the time!

I’m a wedding vendor and NEVER write reviews for other vendors. However, I had the opportunity to work with Meg and her team at a wedding this past weekend (the Museum Lab in Pittsburgh). Meg worked with the main photographer ensuring there was enough time to get amazing images for the couple, AND she was there with us styling the bride for those photo’s. She wanted to make sure the Bride looked her best in each one, I have never seen a planner so invested in a client.
Throughout the day she would check in with us to see if we needed anything, and if we did, she ran and got it. As photographers we do a lot of running around, but Meg made our day 100 times easier.
Seeing her work with the Couple and keeping the wheels turning with other vendors throughout the day, I was impressed. I highly recommend her for your upcoming nuptials. You will NOT be disappointed.

I want more stars. Nine, maybe 10. Meg was recommended by my oldest daughter who is in the local floral industry and knows the best vendors in town. We hired her for assistance with the planning process and day-of coordination.Meg’s personality and skills are the perfect mix of detailed organization, energy, commitment to doing the best job possible, TCBing when needed, and caring about her clients as people. She took care of details before we thought about them. She just saw a need and handled it. She was so responsive during this entire process. Other vendors kept commenting on how great Yinz Getting Married is to work with. By the time the wedding weekend came around we had virtually nothing left to do but get ready and enjoy being together with our family and friends. And Meg is now part of our family. She has set standard that will be hard to beat. Feel free to research other vendors. But you won’t find anyone to top Meg and her team.

I had Amy as my wedding coordinator for my 9/21/2024 wedding. I met Amy 4 years ago when she was the day of coordinator for a wedding that I was a part of. I knew immediately that I needed to keep her contact info for when it would be my turn to be a bride!
Fast forward, and Amy was nothing short of AMAZING. We had a two year engagement and Amy reached out time to time to ask if we needed help or recommendations. Once we were in the final months, Amy took care of my entire timeline and communication with vendors. This alone was LIFESAVING. Amy coordinated the plans with all vendors so that everyone was on the same page. This took SO much off of my plate.
Amy guided our entire rehearsal dinner and helped with anything and everything during our wedding day. She knows what to expect, what not to expect and how to handle any family members/guests. She is extremely professional while being the voice of reason for her couple. Our day was smooth and I never felt frazzled or rushed all thanks to Amy. My entire family has raved about her for the last week. My husband and I both agreed she was the best decision we made for our wedding. We HIGHLY recommend Amy and Yinz Getting Married. Hiring Meg was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! She helped us all along the way with vendors, keeping everything on track, and assuring me I wasn't forgetting anything! On the day of she was on top of it all and we didn't have to worry about a thing! It was so wonderful to be able to truly experience and enjoy the day because it was in the most capable hands!! Meg was on top of EVERY DETAIL the day of my daughters wedding including special issues such as my own elderly fathers concerns about parking and walking with a walker etc in crowds, at the church and at the reception. Also last minute issues of the wrong color napkins all set and ready to go when we got to the reception - she somehow managed to change all 210 out to a beautiful cream color after she made the caterer quickly drive back and switch them out before the guests even knew!! Excellent job!!

We can’t say enough great things about Meg and her team! After working with Meg, I can confidently say she saved our wedding and working with her was the best decision we made throughout the planning process. If you’re reading these reviews because you’re considering hiring a wedding planner, save yourself a lot of time and just book Yinz Getting Married.
Just six weeks before our big day, my husband and I reached out to Yinz Getting Married when we realized we were very behind—having only booked the venue and photographer. From the moment we connected with Meg, we knew she was the perfect choice.
Meg’s kind and reassuring approach made all the difference. Meg guided us through every step, helping us prioritize and clarify what we wanted. During our first meeting, I think we only specified, “we want a big party with an open bar where everyone has fun.”
During the planning process, Meg was incredibly resourceful in connecting us with vendors through her connections in the industry. Within days of meeting her, she connected us with our florist, our live band, connected with our venue, and was in touch with our photographer.
On the actual day, she even went as far as to drive us around the city of Pittsburgh for our pictures and to our actual wedding. I heard from friends and family all night that I was the most relaxed bride they’d ever seen and that it was wonderful to see a couple truly enjoying their wedding. This was entirely possible because of Meg and her incredible team, along with all the fantastic vendors she recommended. It’s easy to be relaxed and have fun with Meg in your corner!
We can’t recommend Yinz Getting Married enough. We are not sure how she did it, but Meg planned the perfect wedding for us in 6 weeks and we couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out!
